Ranchi Hill (Pahadi Mandir).
Ranchi Hill
or Pahadi Mandir is one of the landmarks of Ranchi.
The Shiva temple is situated on top of the hill
called Pahadi Mandir. At the bottom of the hill is
Ranchi Lake.

Rock Garden.
Best place
to spend your holiday. It is situated about 4 km.
away from Albert Ekka Chowk, and is situated in
front of CMPDI Headquarters on Kanke Road. It was
designed to resemble the Rock Garden of Jaipur.

Tagore Hill
It is
situated about 3 Km away from Albert Ekka Chowk near
Ram Krishna Mission Ashram in Morabadi. It is said
that several books were written by Gurudev Rabindra
Nath Tagore atop the hill. One can have a bird's eye
view of the city from the top of the hill.

Sun Temple
Sun Temple
was built by Sanskriti Vihar organisation. It is
situated at a distance of 40 kms on Ranchi Tata
Road. It is built in the form of a Chariot with 18
wheels drawn by 7 white horses. It is surrounded by
a pond which is used by devotees during Chhatth Puja
for worshipping of the Sun God.

Ranchi Lake
It is
situated in the heart of the city. It was excavated
by Col. Onsely, a British Agent in 1842. The lake
has an added attraction in form of boating
facilities for visitors.

Jonha Falls
Jonha Falls also known
as Gautamdhara is around 40 Kms from Ranchi. It is
approachable both by Road and Rail. The falls can be
admired by descending around 500 steps. There is a
tourist rest house and Lord Buddha's temple. The
river Kanchi flows nearby.

Hundru Falls
Hundru Falls is one of
the most picturesque falls of Ranchi. It is situated
45 kms away from Ranchi on the Ranchi-Purulia Road..
Here, the Subarnarekha river falls from a height of
320 feet. The pools at the bottom of the falls are
favourite picnic and bathing spots.

Dasam Falls
Dasam falls is
situated 34 kms away from Ranchi on Ranchi-Tata Road
near a village called Taimara. Here, the Kachni
river falls from an altitude of 144 feet. It is also
known as Dasam Ghagh.
